Australia has launched a new cyber security strategy with an announcement by the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison outlining the broad brush strokes of the strategy. The new strategy will also involve upgrades to the capabilities of the defense forces in relation to information warfare and defensive cyber security operations. In the modern geopolitical environment, cyber security is becoming an even greater concern than the traditional methods of achieving national security through physical defensive assets.
